Description
'Amore, Passione e Tradizione', that is what this wine producer stands for. Azienda Agricola Ai Galli di Buziol Elide started in the early 1970s and today has almost 50 hectares of its own vineyards. Located in the commune Lison-Pramaggiore, all plots fall within the DOC Prosecco. Wines are produced here in a traditional way with love and passion using the most modern and innovative vinification techniques. The vineyards are densely planted and the yield per stick is greatly reduced, so that the quality of the grapes increases. And that the quality is more than good, is endorsed by, among others, the Italian wine bible ''Gambero Rosso''!
Power and elegance come together in this beautiful chardonnay wine from winery Ai Galli from the Selezioni series. Power is in the wine because of its powerful taste, minerality and a lingering aftertaste. At the same time, the wine is stunningly elegant. The grapes are harvested manually the first ten days of September and then undergo a short pre-fermentation. The must is transferred to steel vats where fermentation is completed for 10 days at a controlled temperature of 18-20 ° C on carefully selected yeasts. The wine is then placed in 700-litre French oak barrels to age for several months and then bottle aged for a further 3 months
In the glass, the Ai Galli Venezia Selezioni Chardonnay has a light straw yellow color that becomes more intense as the wine ages. The wine has an innate elegance; the fragrance is reminiscent of flowers and white flesh with pleasant hints of vanilla. It has a well-balanced, strong taste, pleasantly persistent with a mineral touch. This is a delicious white wine with a unique blend of strength and elegance. Goes very well with strongly flavored starters, fish risottos, light fish dishes and white meats.
