Description
The Tariquet Rosé de Pressée is a blend of Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Syrah and velugje Tannat. The maceration takes place at controlled and low temperatures in stainless steel barrels to preserve the freshness of the wines. The attack in the mouth is full and fresh. This rosé offers soft spicy notes that open to a delicious combination of wild raspberries and petals. A pressed rosé wine in which the red grapes are vinified in the same way as the white, so that the great freshness can really be tasted. Delicious as an aperitif, with various salads and with Asian cuisine.
About Domaine Tariquet
Founded in 1912 by Hélène and Pierre Grassa, Domaine Tariquet is a leading family business in the Gascony region of France. In 1982, their children, Maité and Yves, released the first Domaine du Tariquet wine, transforming traditional viticulture with innovative blends of Chenin Blanc, Chardonnay, Gros Manseng and Ugni Blanc.
The winery also stands out for its strong commitment to sustainability, with ecological methods that create harmony between people, nature and wine. This focus on quality and respect for the environment has led to international recognition, including the title of Winemaker of the Year for Yves Grassa in 1987. Today, Yves' sons, Armin and Rémy, continue the legacy, striving for excellence in every bottle of Domaine Tariquet wine. With the same passion and dedication as their predecessors, they strive to maintain the highest quality standards in every glass of Domaine Tariquet wine.
About Côtes de Gascogne
The Côtes de Gascogne is a wine-growing region in Gascony, located in the south-west of France, called the Sud-Ouest in French. It mainly produces white country wine and is mainly located in the Gers department, part of the French region of Occitanie. Côtes de Gascogne is roughly located between the city of Toulouse, the Bordeaux wine region to the west and the Pyrenees to the south. What not many people know is that it is one of the larger wine regions of France. It is a region with a long agricultural tradition, which was mainly known for the production of Armagnac. Due to the reduced demand for this grape distillate, the region has increasingly focused on making wine since the end of the last century. The potential of this region, especially for the production of white wines, was discovered quite quickly. With major investments and the use of modern techniques, producers have succeeded in making very attractive Gascony wines on a large scale over the past 20 to 30 years.

The Domaine du Tariquet has always been an Armagnac producer. Jean-Pierre Artaud is the founder of the domaine, later succeeded by his son-in-law Pierre Grassa. His son Yves gave the impetus to the modernization of the wines, by also making dry white wines from 1982 onwards. Founded in 1912 by Hélène and Pierre Grassa, Domaine Tariquet is a leading family-owned business in the Gascony region of France. In 1982, their children, Maité and Yves, released the first Domaine du Tariquet wine, transforming traditional viticulture with innovative blends of chenin blanc, chardonnay, gros manseng and ugni blanc.
The winery also stands out for its strong commitment to sustainability, with ecological methods that create a harmony between people, nature, and wine. Today, Yves' sons, Armin and Rémy, continue the legacy, striving for excellence in every bottle of Domaine Tariquet wine. With the same passion and dedication as their predecessors, they strive to maintain the highest quality standards in every glass of Domaine Tariquet wine. Father Pierre never imagined that this turnaround would be such a success. Currently, the Grassa family is one of the largest producers in the Sud Ouest.
