Description
Bottega Rose Gold is a Brut rosé sparkling wine obtained by vinification of Pinot Nero grapes (pinot noir). In the glass, the BOTTEGA ROSE GOLD Pinot Nero Spumante Brut Rosé has a subtle pink color with a fine and persistent perlage. On the nose the wine is Intense, elegant, complex, characterized by floral and fruity notes, mainly mixed berries, currants and wild strawberries. On the palate, the Rosé Gold is fresh, delicate, soft, structured, with a balanced acidity and a pleasant and persistent aftertaste. Excellent as an aperitif and with any meal. It goes particularly well with vegetarian and fish dishes (sushi, shellfish, raw vegetables), white meat and cheeses.

Bottega was founded in 1977 by Aldo Bottega, a master distiller with over 30 years of experience. In 1983 Aldo died and his son Sandro took over the management. In 1992, after years of research into the production of softer and richer distillates, the company launched its first prosecco, soon followed by other sparkling wines. The company has several brands under its wing, including Alexander, Bottega and Cellini. Bottega produces and distributes Italian wines, grappa, liqueurs and food items to more than 120 countries worldwide. The company's core values are quality (Italian taste and authenticity), style (the characteristic Italian sense of style) and sustainability (doing business with respect for the environment and society).
The hills of Conegliano, halfway between Venice and the Dolomites, are very suitable for the growth of juicy Prosecco and Moscato grapes. The area is rich in water and the spacious vineyards give way to old Venetian castles and country houses. Bottega is a family-owned business led by Sandro Bottega that has been producing award-winning wines, liqueurs and grappas since the 1970s. The production site is located in Treviso, 40 km north of Venice. It is a very eco-friendly company. In addition to generating almost all of its own energy, Bottega also does a lot of recycling and organic farming. Sandro Bottega is strong in producing high-quality products and designing original bottles and packaging such as the Bottega Gold. On June 6, 2010, Bottega earned an entry in the Guinness World Records Book with the largest bottle of grappa in Italy. The bottle is 1.86 meters high and contains no less than 138 liters of grappa!
