The estate comprises 82 hectares for red wine and 12 hectares for white wine. 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot, 4% Petit Verdot and 1% Cabernet Franc are grown on these 94 hectares. For the white wine, 12 hectares of Sauvignon blanc have been planted. The second wine of the winery is called Pavillon rouge. The white wine "Pavillon Blanc" is considered the best white wine of the Médoc. Since 2009, Château Margaux also produces a third wine called "Margaux du Château Margaux". This third wine has been made since 1997, but it was always sold in bulk to other wine producers until 2009. As one of the largest and most well-known producers in the Margaux, Chateau Margaux produces an average of 25,000 cases of their Grand vin.
