Among the prestigious growth of the Northern Rhone Valley, the Crozes-Hermitage appellation captivates with its captivating, relaxed elegance. The Crozes-Hermitage appellation, best known for its red wines, to which Syrah gives an unbridled expression, also produces some white wines. Elegance is the hallmark here, as is fun. Crozes-Hermitage wines elegantly envelop crisp fruit and the distinctive features of their terroir, bordered by the Rhone River. Both the Syrah-based reds and the rarer whites offer a genuine, immersive taste experience and a unique encounter with wine.

The Crozes-Hermitage is the largest wine estate of the Northern Appellations. It extends over 11 communes located in the Drôme on the right bank of the Rhone. The vineyards are on average less old than those of Hermitage; in the south, the planting is of recent date and has replaced fruit growing. The Crozes-Hermitage has been classified as an AOC for red and white wines since 1937. Important rules are that the alcohol percentage must be at least 10% and the yield may not exceed 45 hectoliters per hectare. The red wine must consist of at least 85% of the Syrah grape and a maximum of 15% of Marsanne and Roussanne. The white wine must be composed of Marsanne and Roussanne.
